The "Do's and Don'ts" of Plumbing
DON'T - Do not flush wipes down the toilet. The packaging my say "flushable" but that only means they will go down the toilet. Once they're in your pipes, the get heavy and left behind, ultimately causing a blockage.
DON'T - Do not flush anything in the toilets other than paper and "waste". Items like pistol magazines will not go thru the integral trap of the toilet.
DON'T - Do not use "drain cleaning" chemicals in your drains. Some products will get rock hard if they sit in the trap to long and do not dissolve the blockage. Contact with the product or it's fumes can also be very harmful.
